Firm History

We have been serving small businesses and individuals in the Longmont area for over 20 years. The firm was founded by Linda G. Stow, CPA, in 1980, as Stow and Associates. For most of the firm's history, we were known as Linda G. Stow, CPA, PC. In January, 2003, the name of the firm was changed to reflect the addition of Linda's daughter, Vicki Santos, as a partner.

Linda G. Stow, CPA
President, Shareholder

Linda has over 30 years of public accounting experience. After graduating from Colorado State University with a BS-BA in Accounting, Linda worked in various public accounting firms during the early 1970s. She took time off to be a stay-at-home mom while her children were young, and re-entered public accounting in 1980, when she founded her own firm.

Linda specializes in QuickBooks® consulting and is a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor. She is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Victoria S. Santos, CPA
Director, Shareholder

A Longmont native and graduate of Longmont High School, Vicki is the daughter of firm founder Linda Stow. She earned a dual bachelor's degree in Accounting and Government from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, in 1996. After working for a regional firm in Denver for a year, Vicki worked for the Rules Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives for three years. She returned to Longmont, and to working for the firm full-time, in January of 2002.

Vicki originally started working for the firm while still in high school, over 10 years ago. Throughout college, and while working in Washington, DC, she continued working as a consultant for the firm on special projects and as an advisor for various Information Technology matters. Vicki successfully passed the CPA Examination on her first attempt and obtained her license to practice as a CPA in the state of Colorado in 1997. She is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
